If you can't run GXSetup, edit ubi.ini by content in grey scrolalble boxes below.Ĥ. (in the stock game "x 32" doesn't work - see at the bottom for fix ). Set your resolution and renderer (DX6 (dgVoodoo) or eventually Glide) in GXSetup.exe, or in UBI.ini, exe and textures.cnt with vignette.cnt in Rayman 2\dataģ. Keep scalling in dgVoodoo settings "unspecified". Now the game should keep constant 60 FPS even in DX6 and not only using nGlide (it also fixes dgVoodoo Glide FPS issues). Replace these files in Rayman 2\DLL folder: Dege - developer of DgVoodoo repaired all FPS issues with DX6/tex mod in Rayman 2 by patching the game files (not only giving DX6 wrapper but also below fix). If you can't manage it to work, install nGlide (incompatible with HD Tex Mod).Ġa. If you use retail copy instead of GOG, copy LEVELS0 as well, to avoid insert CD prompt on game launch). In most cases replacing vignette.cnt is enough (if the file size is the same for your LEVELS0, it rather has the same checksum. Replace these files in Rayman 2 folder (UI will be stretched): Looks like some of these widescreen patches and polish language pack introduced pirate head issue in Meinhir Hills PT2 (and possibly Echoing Caves). It also looks like DLL patch above, along with lower FOV binary (at least 16:10) fixes the issue of disappearing objects on the edges without the need of using Cheat Engine value. Seems like patched GliVd1vf.dll and GliDX6vf.dll by Dege (Rayman 2\DLL) fixes FPS issues for both DX6 and Glide. To prevent having to do this over and again, save a state maybe at ESPN NFL 2K5's main menu, and load that one up each time. Then go to Browser in swap in your ISO and play the game. Then in the PS2 main menu, you go to System Configuration and change your resolution to 16:9. First boot your console without having the ISO selected. Now, if you're asking how to actually enable widescreen mode for this game, it's kind of weird but go with me here. then change to an aspect ratio where the width is 1.6x that of the height, and don't run it in actual fullscreen. So if you want that windowed mode, go to Config -> Video (GS) -> Window Settings. So if you're asking how to perfect the aspect ratio, sadly you can't run it in fullscreen mode unless your monitor is a 16:10 monitor (which is unlikely). I was wondering how to change settings so the game plays/looks like 1080p instead of the regular 4:3 video ratioįirst of all, the game actually runs in 16:10 instead of 16:9.
